Acrylique 50X50 cm : collection POP Paws
Acrylic on canvas
Crown on his head, pipe at the corner of his mouth, and a look that says it all: this is Sherlock, in all his pop art splendor.
Sherlock is my dog. Before he was a painting, he was years of life shared together, that look he gives me when I paint for hours on end, that way he has of ruling the house as if he were its one true owner.
One day, watching him trot around with that eternally joyful, almost mischievous look, I thought he had everything of a king about him — so I gave him what he’d always deserved: a crown. And because Sherlock has this curious energy, always ready to sniff out the next adventure, a pipe felt inevitable — a playful nod to the famous detective, savoring his discovery more than boasting about it.
That’s how the POP Paws collection was born: because Sherlock isn’t just my dog, he’s a full-fledged member of the family — and he deserved to be painted as one. A portrait that celebrates not an animal, but someone you love. He too deserves his official portrait.
